Former chief physician charged with fraud

The former chief physician of the Ganja Railway Hospital, Vidadi Seyidov, was brought to criminal responsibility, oxu.az reports. He is accused of extorting a large sum of money from 9 people by giving them false promises. He was charged under article 178.3.2 (fraud causing major damage) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan and a measure of restraint in the form of arrest was first chosen against the former head physician, but later he was released under house arrest.

Currently, the case has been sent for consideration to the Ganja Court for Grave Crimes.

Vidadi Seyidov was dismissed two years ago from the post of chief physician of Ganja Railway Hospital LLC, which belongs to the medical and sanitary service of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.
