Detained for stealing the cash drawer of the payment terminal

In the village of Gyzylkend, Imishli region, a cash box of a payment terminal was stolen, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

As a result of operational-search activities carried out jointly by employees of the Main Criminal Investigation Department and District Police Department, a resident of the Aghdam region, previously convicted Turan Rzayev and a native of Baku, Eyyub Mammadov, were detained. They are suspected of stealing AZN 70,000, tobacco products in the amount of AZN 2,575 and a payment terminal cash drawer with AZN 9,200 from a trading facility.

The matter is under investigation.
