Detained blackmailer

A citizen, threatening to spread information discrediting a Baku resident, received 800 manats from her, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

As a result of operational activities carried out by police officers, a 20-year-old resident of the capital, Nikhat Huseynov, suspected of committing this act, was detained.

The matter is under investigation.
