Person suspected of stealing lottery tickets detained

A man suspected of stealing lottery tickets has been detained in Baku, Report informs citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

The theft occurred on August 8, 2023 in the Lokbatan settlement of the Garadagh district of Baku. Tickets totaling 420 manats were stolen from a lottery ticket sales point. Veli Salmanov, a resident of Baku, was detained on suspicion of theft. The detainee was taken to the 10th police department of the Garadagh district police station.

The investigation into the fact is ongoing.
