74th International Astronautical Congress kicks off in Baku

Today, the 74th International Astronautical Congress got underway in Baku with the partnership of the Azerbaijan Space Agency (“Azerkomos”) and the International Astronautical Federation, APA reports. Representatives of space agencies, the public sector, investors and private space companies, representatives of local and international media organizations, and more than 5 thousand representatives from 101 countries will participate in the event.

Conferences, technical sessions, and exhibitions will be organized within the Baku Congress. The technical sessions will take place at the Heydar Aliyev Center. The city where the Congress will be held in 2026 will be selected and announced within the framework of the Baku Congress.

Note that the International Astronautical Congress in Baku will continue until October 6.
