President Ilham Aliyev took part at the opening of the 74th International Congress of Astronautics

On October 2, 2023, the opening ceremony of the 74th International Astronautical Congress took place at the Baku Congress Center. As reported by oxu.az with reference to AZERTAC, the event was attended by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva and their son Heydar Aliyev.

First, a joint photo was taken of the congress participants.

At the opening ceremony, a theatrical musical performance was shown, and video clips about the 24th International Astronautical Congress held in Baku in 1973 and about Azerbaijan were shown. Then a presentation video about the International Astronautical Federation was shown.
