Shusha elected tourism capital of the ECO in 2026

The Azerbaijani city of Shusha has been elected as the tourist capital of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in 2026, oxu.az reports with reference to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry. The decision was made following the 5th meeting of the Ministers of Tourism of the ECO countries in the city of Ardabil, Iran. During the meeting, prospects for cooperation in the field of tourism and measures necessary to further strengthen relations in this area were discussed. Based on the voting results, Shusha was elected as the tourism capital of the ECO in 2026
