The judicial and legal system of Azerbaijan complies with European standards

The judicial and legal system of Azerbaijan and the work of the prosecutor’s office fully comply with European standards. According to the Report news agency, this was stated by the head of the Department of Non-Criminal Prosecution of the General Prosecutor’s Office, Elnur Musayev, at the international conference “Protection of children’s rights and integration into society” in Georgia.

According to him, during the event, alternative methods of bringing minors to justice were discussed: “We brought to the attention of the event participants information about recent reforms in the judicial and legal system of Azerbaijan, the activities of specialized institutions, and informed about the work carried out to protect the rights of minors.”
