Operation in Sabunchu district: over 80 people detained

During operations carried out by law enforcement officers in the Sabunchu district of Baku in September-October, 81 people were detained on suspicion of organizing drug trafficking. A criminal case has been opened against each of them in the investigative department of the local police department, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Thus, since the beginning of this year, during operations carried out by employees of the Sabunchu district police department, a total of about 50 kg of narcotic drugs were seized from illicit trafficking, including 15 kg of heroin, 30 kg of marijuana, 5 kg of other types of drugs and psychotropic substances.

According to these facts, an investigation is ongoing at the Sabunchu district police department.
