Azerbaijani citizen, who wanted for fraud, has been extradited

 

Based on the petition of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Georgia made a decision to extradite citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan Vusal Murshudlu in accordance with the requirements of the Convention of January 22, 1993 “On Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Cases,” oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to the information, in the criminal case being investigated in the Yasamal district police station, significant suspicions were established that V. Myurshudlu had committed a crime under Article 178.3.2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Fraud committed with causing large damage). It was decided to bring him to justice as an accused, and he was put on the international wanted list.

It should be noted that V. Myurshudlu was detained on the territory of Georgia and today delivered to Azerbaijan accompanied by a special convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
