Court judgement in the case of former employees of the Ministry of Labor

The Sumgayit Serious Crimes Court has completed the trial of the former senior adviser of the Sumgayit City Employment Center of the State Employment Service under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Rovshan Khalilov and his friend Gulgun Nasirova, accused of bribery, oxu.az reports. According to the verdict, R. Khalilov was sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 8 years and 6 months. In addition, the court deprived him of the right to hold leadership and financially responsible positions in state bodies and local governments for two years. His friend G. Nasirova (born 1989) was sentenced to 5 years and 3 months in prison with deprivation of the right to occupy leadership and financially responsible positions in state bodies and local governments for 1 year and 6 months. They were arrested in the courtroom.
