Expectations from the activities of the President of Azerbaijan to resolve the Karabakh problem were justified

Azerbaijan’s historical victory over the centuries-old invasion plans by ensuring its own territorial integrity and sovereignty and against this background, its sustainable policy at the diplomatic level is the manifestation of strategic thinking and strong political will. The Center for Social Research of Azerbaijan conducted the next surveys in order to learn the public expectations regarding the activity of the head of state in the direction of solving the Garabagh problem, the Center told APA.

For this purpose, the question “Did the President’s activity in the direction of solving the Garabagh problem meet your expectations?” was addressed to the citizens.

According to the results of the survey, in the opinion of the absolute majority of the respondents, unequivocal agreement was expressed with the activity of the head of state in the direction of solving the Garabagh problem. Thus, 75.0% of the participants said that the President’s activity in the direction of solving the Garabagh problem has completely met their expectations and 24% said that their expectations were mostly met. 0.5% said their expectations were mostly not met, 0.3% said their expectations were not met at all, and 0.3% found it difficult to express their opinion.

Note that the field work of the survey (data collection) was carried out on October 18-20, 2023. Surveys were conducted in the form of telephone interviews and 1212 respondents over 18 years of age participated. The survey covered 12 economic districts. The selection frame was determined proportionally to the distribution of the population across the country and gender balance was maintained.

For this purpose, the phone numbers of the mentioned administrative regions and cities were systematically selected and called from the relevant database using a special program. The interviewers were instructed before starting the fieldwork. The respondents were informed that the survey was conducted on the basis of voluntary participation and that the data would be used only in a generalized manner. Based on the number of respondents the survey covered, the margin of error of the results is 3% at a 95% confidence interval.
