In October, contraband worth 2.5 million manats was seized at the border of Azerbaijan

As part of the fight against smuggling, in October the State Border Service (SBS) of Azerbaijan seized contraband at the state border totaling 2 million 574 thousand 176 manats, including drugs, a BERETTA pistol, a night vision device, medicines, a mobile telephone, antique metal ingots, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, APA reports citing the State Border Service press center.

As a result of measures to combat drug trafficking, 149 kg 510 grams of drugs and 13,145 tablets, which are considered potent drugs, were discovered and seized from circulation.
