A list of documents for those wishing to become a private forensic expert has been approved in Azerbaijan

A list of internationally recognized documents has been approved confirming that a person wishing to engage in activities as a private forensic expert has special knowledge. As Trend reports, the corresponding resolution was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov. According to the resolution, internationally recognized documents confirming that a person wishing to engage in activities as a private forensic expert has special knowledge are:

— certificates or other documents issued by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA-Association of Chartered Certified Accountants);

— certificate issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Aicpa-American Institute of Certified Public Accountants;

– European Certificate in Psychology (Europsy – European Certificate in Psychology), issued by the European Federation of Psychologists Associations (Efpa-European Federation of Psychologists Associations);

— CFA-Chartered Financial Analyst certificate issued by the CFA Institute;

– certificates or other documents issued by the Association of Firearms and Toolmark Examiners;

— certificates or other documents issued by the Electronics Technicians Association (ETA-Electronics Technicians Association);

— certificate of a highly qualified specialist in the field of systems engineering (ESEP – Expert Systems Engineering Professional), issued by the International Council on Systems Engineering (incose – International Council on system Engineering);

— certificates or other documents issued by the International Association for Identification (IAI-International Association for Identification);

– certificates or other documents confirming completion of training covering the full program in the specialty “Forensic Science”, conducted in accordance with international treaties ratified by the Republic of Azerbaijan on forensic activities and cooperation in the field of criminalistics.
