How much money will be allocated for the restoration of the liberated lands of Azerbaijan in 2024?

In order to reconstruct and restore cities and villages to ensure the Great Return to the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation, and the creation of modern infrastructure on these lands, 4 billion manats are provided in the state budget for 2024, oxu.az reports. This is reflected in the draft consolidated and state budgets of Azerbaijan presented by the Ministry of Finance.

In addition, to ensure social protection of former internally displaced persons, funds in the amount of 355.3 million manats are planned to be allocated in the state budget for next year. Of these, 317 million manats are provided for the provision of a single monthly allowance in the amount of 60 and 33 manats to persons with the status of former forced migrants and those equivalent to them (467,100 people), 20.7 million manats – for financing utility bills from the state budget, provided to former forced migrants and persons equivalent to them. Funds in the amount of 17.6 million manats are provided for other expenses.
