An international tourism conference and the event “Common Turkic Cuisine” were held in Shusha

On December 1, an international scientific conference on the topic “Prospects for cultural tourism of the Turkic world” was held in Shusha, APA reports. The purpose of the event, organized by the Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency jointly with the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), was to exchange views on the creation of joint tourism products and routes of Turkic-speaking states, as well as discuss prospects for cooperation in this area.

Representatives of official structures of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Hungary, and cultural heritage experts took part in the conference. Representatives of the OTG participating countries held discussions and presentations on the topic “Transformation of the nomadic lifestyle of Turkic-speaking countries into a tourism product.”

As part of the conference, an event called “Common Turkic Cuisine” was also held, at which dishes of the national cuisine of Turkic-speaking countries were presented.
