Georgia extradited an internationally wanted citizen to Azerbaijan

Georgia extradited Elkhan Ibadov, who is on the international wanted list, to Azerbaijan. Report informs that the wanted person was extradited based on a request from the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan in accordance with the requirements of the Convention on Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Matters.

It is noted that Ibadov Elkhan Akhliyat ogly is a defendant in a case of fraud causing significant damage, which is being investigated in the Nizami district police department of Baku.

As part of the investigation, Ibadov was put on the international wanted list. He was detained on the territory of Georgia.
