Suspect detained for thefts from payment terminals

7,753 manats were stolen from a payment terminal installed in one of the food stores in the village of Bina in the Khazar district of Baku, oxu.az reports with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan. According to information, during the activities carried out by employees of the 3rd police station of the Khazar district police department, a previously convicted local resident, Ilham Rakhmanov (born in 1992), was detained on suspicion of committing this crime.

During the investigation, it turned out that the man also committed theft from payment terminals installed in two stores in the Surakhani district of the capital. During his arrest, part of the money he had stolen was found and confiscated. It is noted that I. Rakhmanov spent the rest of the amount on personal needs.

The investigation into this fact continues.
