President: Azerbaijan has resolved all issues in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter

Today we are faced with a number of international challenges. Unfortunately, we have certain misunderstandings with some countries that we consider partners. As AZERTAC reports, President Ilham Aliyevna said this at the forum “Karabakh: Returning Home After 30 Years. Achievements and Difficulties”, organized by ADA University in collaboration with the Center for the Analysis of International Relations.

“We convey our position to them and emphasize the importance of applying international law to all countries. It should not be selective; its implementation is mandatory for everyone. Azerbaijan resolved all issues by exercising the right to self-defense in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter. Exercising full control over its territory is the sovereign right of Azerbaijan,” the head of state noted.
