About 20,000 manats were stolen from the car

On December 1, 2023, in the Baku village of Govsan, 16,000 manats and $2,000 were stolen from a Mercedes-Benz car, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

It was noted that the relevant information was received by the police. As a result of activities carried out by employees of the Main Police Department of the city of Baku and the 30th police station of the Surakhani district police department, a resident of the capital, E. Miriyev (born in 1994), who had previously been convicted of theft, was detained on suspicion of committing this crime.

An investigation into this fact is underway.
