A criminal case has been initiated into violations in the Zagatala Central District Hospital

The Zagatala district prosecutor’s office is conducting an investigation based on a citizen’s complaint in connection with offenses at the Central Regional Hospital, oxu.az reports with reference to the supervisory authority. Thus, during an inspection of the financial and economic activities of the public legal entity “Zagatala Central District Hospital” in the period from June 1, 2021 to June 1, 2023, law enforcement officers identified reasonable suspicions that an unjustified payment of wages was made by an official (persons) , the misappropriation and embezzlement in various ways of a significant amount of state property was also discovered.

Based on this fact, the district prosecutor’s office has opened a criminal case under Articles 179.2.3, 179.2.4 (Misappropriation or embezzlement by a person using his official position and causing significant damage) of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan Republic, and an investigation is underway.
