An Azerbaijani citizen who was on the international wanted list was extradited to his homeland

Based on the petition, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Georgia decided to extradite Azerbaijani citizen Rzayev Namik Ibrahim oglu in accordance with the requirements of the Convention on Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Cases, Trend reports with reference to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan.

Thus, due to the fact that in the prosecutor’s office of the Narimanov district of Baku, in a criminal case investigated at the preliminary investigation stage, substantial suspicions were established that Namig Rzayev had committed embezzlement using his official position and causing significant damage, it was decided to bring him to justice as an accused, he was put on the international wanted list.

Namig Rzayev was detained on the territory of Georgia and delivered to Azerbaijan on December 11, accompanied by a Special Convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
