Cybercriminals have created a fake portal similar to the website of the Azerbaijani Tax Service

An investigation conducted by the Electronic Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan has revealed that cybercriminals are conducting a fraudulent phishing campaign via email against government agencies and institutions, Trend reports citing information from the Electronic Security Service. This process is carried out by cybercriminals creating a fake portal similar to the website of the State Tax Service. As a result, scammers send a fake link to business and government email addresses, ensuring that a malicious file is downloaded.

The e-security service recommends that you be careful with such cases, do not click on suspicious links and obtain official information only from reliable sources.
