President Ilham Aliyev: Azerbaijan systematically supports the global fight against climate change

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev shared on his official account on the social network 10th publication in connection with the holding of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change – COP 29 in our country next year. The Report presents the publication: “Azerbaijan systematically supports the global combating climate change and taking measures related to energy efficiency. Clean environment and green development are our national priorities. Renewable energy is gaining momentum in Azerbaijan.

The upcoming 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 29) in 2024 is based on our strong commitment to contribute to global efforts to combat climate change. I express my sincere gratitude to all countries for their valuable support of Azerbaijan’s candidacy. We will spare no effort to make COP 29 a successful event.
