Press Council: Campaign against Azerbaijani journalists in French media is unacceptable

The Azerbaijan Press Council issued a statement condemning the campaign against Azerbaijani journalists in the French media. Report informs, the statement notes that the campaign in the French media against Azerbaijani journalists is unacceptable.

“The smear campaign against employees of the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) in the French media is inappropriate behavior that is contrary to all ethical norms and values. This unacceptable approach is an unsuccessful attempt to justify restrictions on freedom of speech,” the statement said.
