Azerpost LLC warns citizens about a new method of cyber fraud

Cyber fraudsters are targeting clients of Azerpost LLC, as well as other citizens. As Trend reports, this was stated in a message from Azerpost LLC. It is noted that recently, on behalf of Azerpost LLC, fake messages have been sent to citizens in big amount. They say that the parcel arrived in the country, but was not delivered to the recipient, allegedly due to an inaccuracy in the home address, and the same message contains a fake link, following which citizens supposedly must enter personal data. Thus, misled citizens enter their personal data, especially bank card details, and immediately become victims of cyber fraudsters.

Azerpost LLC called on Azerbaijani citizens to be vigilant, to show special attention and sensitivity to incoming messages and links. And he states that Azerpost LLC does not pay for parcel delivery online and in no case requests card details belonging to a citizen.
