Clarity has been brought to the issue of the list of people who will be resettled at the first stage to the liberated territories of Azerbaijan

The return of former internally displaced persons to Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur continues, where restoration and construction work is underway as part of the implementation of the “First State Program for the Great Return to the territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation.” All information related to the return process is promptly posted on the official website of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (idp.gov.az) and regularly published on social networks. The Committee reported this to APA.

“Unfortunately, some individuals are disseminating inaccurate and false information on social networks about issues within the terms of reference of the State Committee. Recently, one person reported on social networks that he has a list of people who will be resettled in the first stage to the territories liberated from occupation.

Considering that such information may cause confusion among internally displaced persons, we once again emphasize that citizens can clarify information on all issues related to resettlement to restored and rebuilt settlements in the territories liberated from occupation by contacting the State Committee for Refugees and internally displaced persons,” says the State Committee.
