The Supreme Court of Azerbaijan has simplified the procedure for paying alimony

The Supreme Court of Azerbaijan has simplified the procedure for paying alimony. Report was told about this in the Supreme Court.

The bench of the Supreme Court, consisting of all judges on the Civil and Commercial Collegiums, ruled that the requirement provided for in Article 55.3 of the Family Code is an application for establishing the procedure for executing the decision. When considering a claim for withholding alimony, an appeal in this regard is resolved in the manner prescribed by Article 220.6 of the Civil Procedure Code of the Azerbaijan Republic.

With regard to alimony withheld by court decision, this issue is resolved on the basis of an application from the debtor in the manner prescribed by Article 231.1 of the Civil Procedure Code of the Azerbaijan Republic.
