Iranian citizens were detained at the Azerbaijani border, more than 8 kg of drugs were seized

On the territory of the border post near the village of Hamosham, Astara district, the Lankaran detachment of the State Border Service (SBS) troops prevented an attempt to smuggle a narcotic substance from Iran into Azerbaijan by two unknown persons, APA reports citing the SBS press service.
During the investigation, it was established that the detainees were citizens of Iran – Jamshidi Gulamrza Gachag oglu, born in 1968. and Yusifzade Siyamak Samadulla oghlu, born in 1988. During the search, marijuana with a total weight of more than 8 kg and 2 tablets of M-40 methadone were found and confiscated from the detainees.
