A criminal case has been opened in connection with the suicide of a lawyer in Baku

A criminal case has been opened in Baku regarding the self-immolation of a lawyer, oxu.az reports with reference to APA. The lawyer of the Salyan district law office, Zaur Mamedov, doused himself with a flammable substance in front of the Bar Association building and set himself on fire.

A criminal case has been opened on this fact under Article 125 (incitement to suicide) of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan Republic, the investigation is ongoing.
