The prosecutor demanded punishment for Avaz Zeynalli

The prosecutor demanded that Avaz Zeynalli be sentenced to 10 years, and Elnur Shukurov – to 5 years in prison, oxu.az reports. The state prosecutor spoke at the trial chaired by the judge of the Baku Court of Grave Crimes, Ali Mammadov. The next court hearing is scheduled for January 26, 2024.

In connection with this, Avaz Zeynalli was charged under articles 178.2.1 (fraud, by a group of persons by prior conspiracy), 311.3.2 (receiving a bribe, repeatedly), 311.3.3 (receiving a bribe, on a large scale), 311.3.4 (receiving a bribe, using threats), 32.4 (an instigator is a person who has persuaded another person to commit a crime by persuasion, bribery, threat or other means), 312.2 (giving a bribe to an official for committing obviously illegal actions (inaction) or repeatedly) 312-1.1( demanding or receiving material and other benefits, benefits or privileges, or accepting an offer or assurance about this by a person for himself or third parties, directly or indirectly, personally or through an intermediary, for the purpose of exerting illegal influence on the decision of an official using his real or perceived possibilities of influence) of the Criminal Code of the AR, and Elnur Shukurov – 178.2.1, 32.4, 312.2 and 312-1.1.
