A suspect was detained for stealing more than 13 thousand manats from a card

A man suspected of stealing over 13 thousand manats from a bank card was detained in Sumgayit, Report informs with refernec to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

According to the department, on January 8, 2024, the police received a complaint about the theft of 13,100 manats from the bank account of a resident of the city of Sumgayit. Employees of the 3rd department of the Sumgayit city police department detained a resident of the city, Asad Abdullayev, suspected of committing theft.

The fact is under investigation.
