Ministry of Internal Affairs: compensation for damages in the amount of more than 33 million manats caused to citizens has been provided

Last year, 42 criminal groups consisting of 103 people were identified in Azerbaijan, who committed 49 crimes related to robbery. Report informs, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General Vilayat Eyvazov said this during an operational meeting at the Main Police Department of Baku, dedicated to the results of 2023.

The minister added that last year it was also possible to identify 26 criminal groups consisting of 56 people who committed 56 burglaries. According to the minister, citizens were compensated for 76.6% of the material damage caused (33 million 748 thousand 928 manats) in criminal cases, the investigation of which has been completed.
