The police carried out an operation: about 20 kg of drugs were seized

In the Agjabedi region, police officers seized about 20 kg of drugs from illegal trafficking, oxu.az reports with reference to the Barda regional press service group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Thus, as a result of an operation carried out by employees of the local police department, residents of the area Khalig Asadov and Imran Gasimov, suspected of drug trafficking, were detained.

During a search in Kh. Asadov’s house, about 10 kg of marijuana was discovered and seized, and during a personal search of I. Gasimov, bundles of heroin and marijuana were found and about 8 kg of marijuana were seized in the house.

Criminal cases have been initiated based on these facts, and the investigation is ongoing.
