15 suspects detained for various crimes

Employees of the Goranboy district police department in January-February of this year, during operations and preventive measures carried out in the district, detained 15 suspects in drug trafficking, as well as fraud, theft, illegal possession of firearms, intentional harm to health and other crimes, reports oxu .az with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

Four of them were detained as a result of police operations to suppress drug trafficking. In addition, during the above period, three suspects of fraud were detained and transferred to the investigation, who abused the trust of citizens and took their money, two – of stealing money and things worth 6,000 manats from houses and shops, one – of intentionally causing harm to health and another – in illegal hunting. In addition, four detainees are suspected of illegally acquiring and storing firearms.
