The Constitutional Court confirmed the results of the early presidential elections

The Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan announced the results of the early presidential elections held on February 7, 2024. According to oxu.az, the chairman of the court, Farhad Abdullayev, after hearing the assessments, read out the decision on the approval and official announcement of the results of the presidential elections. According to the decision, the results reflected in the final protocol of the Central Election Commission (CEC) in connection with the elections were confirmed.

The Constitutional Court decided to declare candidate Ilham Heydar oglu Aliyev the elected President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The decision comes into force from the moment it is announced. The decision of the Constitutional Court is final and cannot be canceled, modified or officially interpreted by any body or person.

According to the Central Election Commission, Ilham Aliyev won the early presidential elections with 92.12% (4,567,458 votes). Voter turnout was 76.43%.
