The former head of the State Service for Mobilization and Military Conscription of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was arrested

The Baku Military Court considered a petition to select a preventive measure against the ex-chief of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription for Military Service of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Mirza Jalilov, in the ongoing criminal case in the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to Oxu.Az, he was charged with receiving large bribes from individuals during his tenure.

At the trial chaired by Judge Rafig Abbasov of the Baku Military Court, a preventive measure was chosen against M. Jalilov in the form of arrest for a period of 3 months and 20 days.

It should be noted that he previously also served as head of the Nakhchivan city police department.
