Suspects of causing damage to citizens in the amount of more than 3 million manat were detained

During the operational search activities carried out by employees of the Khachmaz district police department based on the information received, Kenul Muzaffarova, a resident of the city of Baku, was detained, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It is noted that she, having abused the trust of citizens, embezzled a total of 55,000 manats. During other operational-search activities, a local resident, Jeyhun Askerov, was detained, who, using the trust of several people, took possession of someone else’s property on a particularly large scale and thus caused damage to the victims in a total amount of more than 3,000,000 manats.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding this fact, and a preventive measure in the form of arrest has been chosen against both detainees by a court decision.
