136 employees of the State Mobilization Service were brought to justice

Since May 2023, the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription for Military Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been taking comprehensive measures to combat corruption and increase transparency, including improving the regulatory framework, APA reports citing the State Service. Thus, as a result of internal inspections carried out against officials, in 2023, serious disciplinary and organizational measures were taken against 78 employees, and during the corresponding period in 2024, against 58 employees who violated legal requirements. In 2023, materials regarding 22 people were sent to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan for a legal assessment of their actions on 15 facts, and in 2024 – materials regarding 26 people on 6 facts.
