Person detained on suspicion of stealing bank cards from cars

A man was detained in the Surakhani district of Baku for trying to pay for purchases in supermarkets with stolen bank cards, oxu.az reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

It is noted that the police received information about the theft of mobile phones, laptops, bank cards, money and other valuables from the insides of four cars through broken windows.

As a result of the activities carried out by employees of the 32nd police department of the Surakhani district police department, a resident of Baku, Ali Safarov (born 1994), suspected of committing the above crimes, was detained. The psychotropic substance methamphetamine was discovered and seized from him. It should be noted that A. Safarov tried to pay for purchases in supermarkets with stolen bank cards, which was recorded by surveillance cameras.
