Drug couriers transporting 14 kg of marijuana detained

Drug couriers were detained in Yardimli, from whom 14 kilograms of marijuana were found and seized, Trend reports, citing information disseminated by the Lankaran regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

It is noted that as a result of measures taken by employees of the Yardimli district police department to combat drug trafficking, Samid Mamedov and the previously convicted Nurali Mamedov were detained. 14 kilograms of marijuana were found in the Opel car they were in.

It was established that the detainees purchased marijuana from a drug dealer living in Iran, whose identity is being established by the investigation. They planned to deliver drugs to certain places in Azerbaijan.
