In Baku, thieves stole a safe with 340 thousand manats

A safe containing 340 thousand manats was stolen from one of the houses located in the capital, APA reports citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs. So, based on the victim’s statement, an investigation was launched. Members of the group were detained: Shebnam Huseynova, born in 1986, her sister Zemfira Sultanova, born in 1996, and their cousin, previously convicted Gurban Sultanov, born in 1991. and their friend Ali Gurbanov born in 1996.

During the interrogation, it turned out that Sh. Huseynova had obtained the keys to the apartment. Then at night, breaking into the house, she stole the safe, handing it over to G. Sultanov. He, in turn, took the safe to the Shamkir region, opened it, and pocketed 340 thousand manats. Then he sent 194 thousand manats to his cousins. The criminals used this money to buy cars. Z. Sultanova spent part of the money on plastic surgery.

A criminal case has been initiated into the matter. By a court decision, a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen against the detainees.
