A large consignment of drugs was destroyed in Azerbaijan

On July 22, 2024, the State Border Service carried out the process of destruction of narcotic drugs seized from illicit trafficking. The event was implemented with the participation of the Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illicit Drug Trafficking and members of the commission consisting of government agency employees, oxu.az reports with reference to the State Border Service.

The department noted that a total of 247 kg 785.761 g of narcotic drugs were destroyed (211 kg 690.27 g hashish, 19 kg 934.25 g opium, 11 kg 860 g marijuana, 4 kg 301.241 g heroin).
