Persons involved in drug trafficking detained

The Nasimi District Police Department received information about persons involved in illegal trafficking and sale of narcotic drugs in the district, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to information, Sabuhi Abasov (born 1989) and Vugar Ismayilov (born 2000), previously convicted of drug-related crimes, were detained. They were found to have about 10 kg of drugs, including marijuana, heroin and the psychotropic substance methamphetamine.

Based on these facts, criminal cases have been initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan, and an investigation is underway.
