An attempt to transport a large shipment of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan was prevented

According to Trend, citing the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, customs control was carried out at the Bilasuvar Customs Department using a service dog on the cargo vehicle of an Azerbaijani citizen entering the country from Iran.

Based on the response of the sniffer dog, the vehicle was thoroughly inspected by Customs and Border Protection officers and a narcotic drug (dried marijuana weighing a total of 30 kilograms and 30 grams) and a psychotropic substance, methamphetamine, weighing 7.9 grams were found in the front of the trailer.

An investigation into this fact is underway.
