The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan issued a warning about cybertraps

Every offer in cyberspace is suspicious, all interventions occur as a result of deception and stimulation of the card holder, oxu.az reports with reference to the head of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, police lieutenant colonel Elshad Hajiyev.

“No matter how much money is on the card – 1, 10, 45 or 50,000 manats, its data should not be disclosed to unknown persons. Thefts from citizens’ bank cards are carried out using cybertraps, such as fake links, fake sales, fake advertising, prepayments, investments, lottery games, offers for additional income, money transfers, currency exchange, cryptocurrency, increased security. In such situations, citizens should exercise caution. Cybersecurity is an ongoing process,” he warned.
