Smuggling of medicines prevented

The Goytapa Border Group of the State Border Service (SBS) of Azerbaijan prevented the smuggling of medicines from Iran with cost AZN 34000 across the state border, the SBS’s press service told APA.

As a result of operation, 13190 packages of Indian- and Iranian-made “Veltram-200”, “Alltram-200”, “Tramagelzik”, “Metadone-20”, “Metadone-40” branded drugs each containing 10 tablets were found hidden in the trees at a distance of 200 meters away from the state border, nearby Avash village of the Yardimli region.

Investigation is continuing to bring smugglers to justice.
