The trial of Farid Huseynli, accused of murdering his wife and 8-month-old daughter, has ended, APA reports. The verdict was announced at a session of the Sumgayit Court for Grave Crimes chaired by Judge Nureddin Huseynli. By the court’s decision, he was sentenced to life imprisonment
Police officers have solved 55 crimes registered in Azerbaijan on October 5 and 6, and 2 crimes committed in previous periods, Trend reports citing information released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.
It is noted that 41 people who were wanted (including 29 people wanted as debtors) were detained.
20 drug-related cases and 8 cases related to the discovery of illegally stored ammunition were revealed. 51 people were detained on suspicion of committing crimes.
