Based on the information received by the Main Directorate for Combating Cybercrime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan about the mass deception of people and the embezzlement of their money on the TOST platform, an investigation was conducted, APA reports with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As a result, one of the leaders of the pyramid, Namig Jabbarzade, born in 1981, was detained, Sahib Huseynov, born in 1989, was put on the wanted list, since it was established that he is outside the country.

Jabbarzade and Huseynov appropriated citizens’ money in the amount of about 5 million manats. These funds were transferred by the leaders of the group to electronic wallets after they were converted into cryptocurrency.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that victims of the fraud of the TOST pyramid can contact the police.

On October 7, 2024, at 17:45, during the search and operational activities carried out on the service territory of the Goytepe border outpost of the State Border Service (SBS), the smuggling of 10,020 units of the CYTOTEK drug, the sale of which is prohibited in the country, was prevented, APA reports with reference to the press center of the SBS.

Operational and investigative activities are ongoing.

It is noted that 70 people who were wanted (including 57 people wanted as debtors) have been detained. 19 drug-related facts and 7 facts related to the illegal storage of ammunition have been revealed. 33 people suspected of committing crimes have been detained.
