The Shirvan Court of Appeal has completed a hearing on the appeal against the sentence against the former head of the Neftchala District Executive Authority (EA) Ismayil Veliyev and other persons convicted along with him, oxu.az reports. The trial was chaired by Judge Yashar Gashimov. During the hearing, the court’s decision was announced, according to which the appeal was not satisfied.

According to the Western Bureau of Report, officers of the Samukh District Police Department detained previously convicted Elmir Tobolin during the events. He is suspected of stealing 5,700 manat in cash from an apartment.

An investigation is underway into the fact.
